Description: HepCAP will establish a steering committee to oversee the execution of annually established organizational goals. The steering committee will serve to improve decision-making processes, increase stakeholder engagement, build functional capacity, and increase operational transparency. Activities may include but are not limited to educational campaigns, events coordination, fundraising, policy/advocacy, reviewing public statements.


Time Commitment: Four quarterly meetings a year at minimum.


Requirements: HepCAP is looking for applicants from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels. Those applying should have basic working knowledge of hepatitis C, awareness of hepatitis C policy, and experience working in a community facing, collaborative environment. Ideal steering committee members will have strong communication skills, fundraising experience, and leadership experience. All steering committee members must be able to meet the time commitments of the steering committee.


Terms of Office: Steering Committee members will serve for a minimum of two years, with an ability to renew for a maximum of four terms.
